Introducing PRISM

Metro Air Virtual is proud to announce the opening of a European branch called "Prism," based in Kansas City, KS. The airline acquired EuroStar Airlines, which was based in Manchester, England and already possessed valuable landing slots.

Operations Analyst Marek Michalak explained: "We bought upstart EuroStar airlines that had been based in Manchester England and already had landing slots to expand our European network."

Following the end of our FlyUK codeshare partnership, Metro Air sought new European opportunities. Chief Personnel Officer Chris Giordano noted: "Post Covid recovery in Europe opens potential opportunities to enter a market Metro Air Group was not active in until now."

The new Prism livery combines Metro's design elements with colors from Newaira and Makai airlines. Public Relations Director Steve Miller stated the airline would maintain presence in the Baltic region while expanding into Western Europe, particularly England and Germany.

Chief Technology Officer Sean Mullineaux emphasized: "While we will not operate under the name Newaira any longer, we will have very fond memories of that brand."

Prism launched December 1, 2022, offering passenger and cargo service using Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft.
